12-02 · Facility Environment
All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months. CCRC saw that there were some stained ceiling tiles observed in the four and five year old room (Pictures were taken). Please check for water leaks and have the stained tiles replaced by the

24-13 · Food Preparation Area
Child care personnel, while working in the food preparation area, must wear proper head covering, such as a hair net or hat. To prevent contact with ready to-eat foods, child care personnel must use clean disposable gloves, utensils, or similar items in the food preparation area. Staff member while working in the food preparation area was not wearing a hair net or hat. TA was given by CCRC to director and staff in reference to this matter. The staff person then placed a hat on, thus this regulation is marked back into compliance

33-09 · Training Requirements
The staff person hired 1/30/23 and named on the supplemental page has not completed the safe sleep training. CCRC gave TA to the director in reference to completing this training within 30 days of hire at the facility. All child care personnel who work in a facility that offers care to infants must have training regarding guidance on safe sleep practices, preventing shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma; recognition of signs and symptoms of shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma; strategies for coping with crying, fussing, or distraught child and the development and vulnerabilities of the brain in infancy in early childhood within 30 days of hire at the facility. For child care personnel to satisfy this requirement the training must be accomplished through one of following methods: Department's Health Safety and Nutrition course, Safe Sleep course, or the Early Learning Floridas Safe Sleep Practices. Documentation of training must be maintained on the Department's training transcript in the child care personnel record

Reviewed 11 staff records. At the time of the inspection, the counselor observed 10 staff records did not have a current C. CF-FSP Form 5337, Child Abuse & Neglect Reporting Requirements, that was signed annually. The forms had been signed by the staff more than a year before the date of inspection. Pictures taken. Provided technical assistance from the handbook Section 7.4 Personnel Records- Records must be maintained and kept current on all child care personnel, as defined by Section 402.302(3), F.S. These records shall be on-site, available for review by the licensing authority and must include: C.
