Licensing Specialist (LS) observed that the staff member while working in the food preparation area was not wearing a hair net or hat. TA was given by LS to the director and staff in reference to this matter. The staff person then placed a hairnet on head, thus this regulation is marked back into compliance

When children in diapers are in care, there must be a diaper changing area with an impermeable surface that is cleaned and sanitized or disinfected after each use. The diaper changing mat in the Infant classroom had a tear in it. The surface of the diaper changing mats has to be impermeable. The torn mat was discarded during today's inspection and replaced with a new one

Bottles and sippy cups brought from home shall be individually labeled with the childs first and last name and shall be returned to the custodial parent or legal guardian daily. In several classrooms sippy cups brought from home were not labeled or only had a first name (Pictures were taken). The staff person and director were educated by the licensing counselor on the requirement for last and first names on cups and bottles brought from home. The staff person then correctly labeled the items, thus this regulation is marked back into compliance

The staff member listed on the supplemental page must start and complete the training to meet the SR training requirement. The online SR training is also available to meet this requirement. CCRC provided technical assistance to the director. All pre-service training requirements must be completed by all program personnel, volunteers and substitutes, each as defined in the handbook, within 90 days of initial employment with any provider participating in the school readiness program
