There must not be any propped bottles. If a child cannot hold the bottle, child care personnel must hold the bottle during feeding. There must be no automatic feeding devices unless prescribed by a doctor and documentation is available in the childs file. A child was observed laying down at naptime with a bottle in his mouth and resting on the mat. This was corrected at time of inspection

In groups of mixed age ranges, where children one year of age but under two years of age are included, one child care personnel must be responsible for no more than six children of any age group, at all times. In the 1 and 2 year old classroom child care regulation counselor observed 1 teacher to 9 children ages 1 & 2. TA was given to the staff member and the director. Another staff member came into the classroom placing this standard back in compliance. 1:3 Infants 1:9 Children ages 1 & 2 out of ratio (Corrected to 2:9 Children during this inspection visit). 2:16 Children age 3 2:12 Children ages 4 & 5

13-02 · Toxic Substances, Hazardous Materials and Weapons
All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a child's reach at all times. CCRC observed hand sanitizer labeled "keep out of reach of children" on a shelve, accessible to the children (Picture was taken) . Child Care regulation counselor (CCRC) gave technical assistance (TA) to the staff responsible to ensure that all harmful items are stored in a locked or inaccessible area to children at all times. The staff responsible removed the sanitizer during this inspection visit, placing this standard back in compliance
