During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed in the bathroom in the 2/3 classroom the sink was pulling away from the wall and the light switch was cracked. In the one-year-old classroom, there was peeling paint on the wall on the right under the window. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, A (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months

During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the fire inspection was not conducted annually in that the last inspection was conducted on 10/14/2023. The Director was given until March 31, 2025, to come into compliance with this standard. CCF Handbook 3.8.2 Fire Safety Unless statutorily exempted, all childcare facilities must conform to state standards adopted by the State Fire Marshal, Chapter 69A-36, F.A.C., Uniform Standards for Life Safety and Fire Prevention in Child Care Facilities. A copy of the current and approved annual fire inspection report completed by a certified fire inspector must be on file with the licensing authority. If the program is granted a fire inspection exemption by the local fire inspection office, the exemption must be documented and maintained on file at the program
