During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed a hazard in that there were plants that were sharp to the touch on the right side of the home, when facing the home. The plants were within childrens reach. This standard has been brought back into compliance in that the operator removed the plants during the inspection. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.6, A: Outdoor Play areas shall be clean, in good repair and free from litter, nails, glass, and other hazards

During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed non-prescription medication diaper creams was stored in an unlocked draw within childrens reach under the diaper changing table. This standard has been brought back into compliance in that the operator discarded of the non-prescription medication diaper creams during the inspection. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.24, C: Medication: The family day care home or large family childcare home is not required to give medication; however, if they choose to do so, the following shall apply: C. Prescription and non-prescription medication brought to the home by the custodial parent or legal guardian must be in the original container
