During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed in the infant room an outlet did not have a safety cover on it. The director brought this standard back in compliance at the time of inspection. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that there were no staff members that maintained skill demonstration for CPR. The director was given until October 16, 2024 to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 4.2.4 First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) B. By December 31, 2021, the facility shall maintain the following number of child care personnel with the CPR certification and first aid training that are on site at the facility at all times children are in care. For child care personnel to count to meet requirement in the below chart, they shall be child care personnel assigned to provide direct supervision of children in care: Total number of child care personnel in direct supervision of children to meet staff to child operating ratios: 51- 75 Total minimum number of child care personnel with Pediatric CPR certification on site when children are present :5 Total minimum number of child care personnel with first aid training on site when children are present: 5. At the time of inspection licensing specialist observed the supplies in the infant room, preschool restroom and kitchen handwashing sink were missing soap and paper towels. The director was able to add the supplies to all the areas bringing this back into compliance. 33-01 · Training Requirements
During the time of inspection, the Owner/Operator/Director advised the Licensing Specialist that there 6 employees. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist monitored 6 of the 6 employee records. When the Licensing Specialist was reviewing the files the licensing counselor seen one personnel did not finish her 40-hour training. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 4.2.1 Mandated Introductory Training Child care personnel must successfully complete 40 hours of child care training as evidenced by successful completion of competency examinations offered by the Department or its designated representative with a weighted score of 70 or better. Child care personnel who successfully completed the mandatory 40-hour Introductory Child Care Training prior to January 1, 2004 are not required to fulfill the competency examination requirement. A. At the time of inspection licensing specialist observed the daily attendance records did not have children in attendance marked in. The director was able to update the attendance roster at the time of inspection bringing this standard back into compliance. Daily attendance of children must be taken and recorded accurately by the child care personnel, documenting the time when each child enters and departs the program. At the time of inspection, licensing specialist observed there were no documentation of September distribution of distracted driver brochure. The families are given the brochure at the time of enrollment and these are in the student files. The director posted the brochure for families to review on the parent information board next to the entrance. TA: The operator must maintain a written record of the fire drills showing the date, number of children and child care personnel in attendance, evacuation route used, and time taken for all individuals to evacuate the premises.
