During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed the 2 yr old teacher leave the room to answer the front door. The group of 11 children were left alone in the classroom while she opened the door. When she returned to the room she had the two children that arrived with her and they came into the classroom to have breakfast with the group. At the time of inspection licensing specialist observed and photographed 3 children unsupervised in the multipurpose room. One child was laying on the floor crying at the door and the other two children were climbing on the bench looking at the rainbow design on the wall. The one teacher came out to supervise the children bringing this back into compliance. The school age children and the 4 yr old children were taken to the other building into their classrooms. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 2.4 B, Child care personnel must be assigned to provide direct supervision to a specific group of children and be with that group of children at all times. At the time of inspection licensing specialist observed and photographed the smoke detectors in the facility were wrapped in tape entirely to the point you could not see the smoke detectors. As per the licensing specialist request, the director removed all the tape during the reinspection. A fire drill was conducted to make sure the alarm system was working. A representative of a partnering agency stated on 4/11/24 it was witnessed that a child exited one playground onto another playground. The teacher left the class unattended and chased the child on the other playground. On 4/12/24 at 10:30 am licensing specialist observed and photographed five children from the 2 yr old class coming inside from the playground without a teacher while the two teachers gathered the remaining children to come inside. Two boys from the group outside were running away from the teachers as they chased them. The director came into the multipurpose area and assisted with the unsupervised group until the teachers were able to bring all children inside and move to the classroom
