During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed in the 2 year old room the wall when you first walk in to the right there is paint peeling under the word shapes, the counter top in the bathroom is peeling and has a sharp edge. The director was given until March 3, 2025, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 3.1 A.- General Health and Safety Requirements. A. All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months

• During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed in the 2 year old classroom and the VPK the following items that were on the teachers desk: • 2 year old's classroom • 1. packing tape • 2. hand sanitizer • 3. stapler/ stapler remover • 4. adult scissors • 5. tools(2 screw drivers) • 6. hole punisher VPK Classroom 1. Disinfectant wipes 2. Hand Sanitizers • The operator removed all items and put it out of the reach of the children to bring this standard back in compliance at the time of inspection. • During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 3.2 B Toxic/Hazardous Material/Firearms/Weapons. B. All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times

18-06 · Bedding and Linens
During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed in the VPK classroom 3 mats that were ripped and exposing the foam and in the 2 year old classroom 8 mats that were ripped and exposing the foam. The director was given until March 3, 2025, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section3.6.1,D- Bedding and Linens. Each child in care must be provided safe and sanitary bedding to be used when napping or sleeping. Nap bedding is not required for school-age children; however, the program must provide an area for children that choose to rest. D. Floor mats must be at least one-inch thick and covered with an impermeable surface

30-06 · Diapering
During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 3.10.2, L Diapering Requirements- L. Diaper changing procedure must be posted in the changing area and followed to protect the health and safety of children and child care personnel. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed in the 2-year olds that the changing mat was ripped exposing the foam. The operator brought this standard back in compliance by removing the old mat and replacing it with a new mat at the time of inspection. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 3.10.2, E Diapering Requirements - E. When children in diapers are in care, there must be a diaper changing area with an impermeable surface that is cleaned and sanitized or disinfected after each use

17-01 · Outdoor Play Area/Fencing
AT the time of inspection licensing specialist observed and photographed the playground was closed due to upgrades being made to the playground area. A large tree with berries is overgrowing above the fence line and the facility is in the process of trimming the tree back so the berries are not falling into the children's play area. Due to the renovations, the shaded outdoor play area is closed as well. Be sure to have the renovations completed and the playground area reopened by the due date. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 3.5, . The outdoor play area must be clean and free from litter, nails, glass and other hazards. B. The outdoor area must be designed to allow child care personnel to clearly see children while playing on all equipment. C. The outdoor play area must provide shade. Shade may be provided by trees, buildings, or structures

24-12 · Food Preparation Area
At the time of inspection the trash can in the kitchen was overflowing with trash. The director was able to remove the trash and bring this back into compliance. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 3.9.1, A.8 Leak-proof, non-absorbent containers covered with a tight-fitting lid for all food waste stored inside the facility. The container must be emptied, cleaned, and sanitized or disinfected daily
