During the inspection, Child Care Regulation observed that the facility was out of ratio, in that there was an infant in a classroom with no staff and a school ager in a classroom with no staff. During the inspection, additional childcare personnel had arrived at the facility, so that the infant teacher was able to go to her classroom with the infant and the school ager joined the teacher in the infant room bringing the facility back into compliance with their ratio, therefore this is being marked as resolved during the time of the inspection. Ratios (First Observation) 0:1 Infant 1:5 One Year Olds 1:10 Four Year Olds 0:1 School Ager (12 Years Old) 1:6 Two Year Olds Ratios (Second Observation) 1:2 Infant and School Age 1:5 One Year Olds 1:10 Four Year Olds 1:6 Two Year Olds

04-01 · Supervision
While at the facility, Child Care Regulation observed that childcare personnel did not provide direct supervision for an infant, as the infant was alone in the classroom, in a bouncy seat that was placed in a pack and play. A teacher who was caring for a group of 5 one-year olds advised that she is supposed to be in the infant room with the baby (3-month-old), however was not in the classroom with the infant because the one-year-old teacher was running late. The teacher advised that the infant arrived around 6:30AM and that the one-year-old teacher normal arrives at 7:00AM. The one-year-old teacher arrived approximately 10 minutes later (7:13AM) and the infant teacher/floater went in the classroom with the infant. Furthermore, Child Care Regulation also observed that a school age child was in a classroom by herself, the infant teacher/floater advised that was her 12-year-old daughter and that she is not enrolled at the facility. Child Care Regulation advised that the 12-year-old cannot be left unattended in the facility, so the 12-year-old joined her in the infant room. This is being marked as resolved during the time of the inspection
