At the time of inspection, licensing counselor observed and photographed the children in the 2-4 year old room watching a Christmas cartoon movie during rest time. The teacher turned the video off and children got up from nap time. TA Do not include the use of electronic media for children under two years of age. Electronic media may only be used for educational purposes or physical activity for children 2 years of age and older for no more than 1 to 2 hours per day

23-08 · Fire Drills

At time of inspection, fire drill log did have a drill recorded for the month of August. A fire drill was conducted at the time of inspection bringing this area back to compliance. 35 children and 9 adults were present. The building was cleared in 56 seconds. The alarm system was being upgraded at the time of inspection

At the time of inspection, the director explained that the playground flooded during the past hurricane and washed away the mulch. The physical environment checklist stated that new mulch was added before August 30, 2023. Be sure to add more mulch under the stationary equipment on the playground by the due date
