When cots are shared, all metal, plastic and sealed wood bed frames shall be thoroughly wiped down with a general purpose cleaning agent, and linens changed between children. In a group child care home, an individual mat or individual sleeping bag may be substituted for the individual cot.

Medication shall be stored in a locked area or a locked container in a refrigerator in keeping with the label directions away from food and inaccessible to children.
