[19a-87b-8(c)] · Each provider shall identify to the Office of Early Childhood at least one emergency caregiver who shall be available and on call during customary business hours to provide child care only for unscheduled, unforeseen emergencies. The emergency caregiver shall be a responsible person who is twenty (20) years of age or older and known to the provider. The emergency caregiver shall be able to arrive at the facility within fifteen minutes of being summoned by the provider and be able to immediately notify parents of all children present of the emergency.

[19a-87b-9(e)] · The provider shall protect children from guns, ammunition and weapons stored at the facility. All guns shall be stored unloaded. Ammunition shall be stored and locked in a separate location away from the guns and inaccessible to children. All guns and weapons shall be kept locked or stored in a locked storage area that is known to the provider. Locks shall be openable with a key, combination or similar unlocking mechanism that prevents unauthorized persons from obtaining access.
