Observed Ms. Jennifer to be caring for 10 children in the Preschool classroom. Ms. Jennifer's file is lacking the Trails clearance letter. Also observed Ms. Karen to be left alone with the children while Ms. Jennifer stepped out of the classroom for around 10 minutes. Ms. Karen works as a teacher with the older children in the elementary program. Ms. Karen doesn't have any background check (FBI, CBI, and Trails) completed. Correction: Immediately (10/12/2023) ensure that criminal background check requests are submitted and successfully completed prior to an individual caring for children or allowing the individual unsupervised access to children.
