7.707.32.A.1 · Prior to issuance of the license: A State Department approved fifteen (15) clock hour pre-licensing course of training that includes nine (9) core knowledge standards. The content of one of the standards must specifically address appropriate guidance with children and that corporal discipline is never allowed. The clock hours of pre-licensing training do not include certification in First Aid, CPR, and medication administration training
