The plan must include provisions for multiple types of hazards, such as floods, fires, tornadoes, and active shooter situations. The plan must be updated as changes occur and reviewed annually. All employees of a child care provider must also be annually trained on the provider’s written plan prior to caring for children, and retrained as changes occur.
