Ten toddlers on the "Sandbox" playground. Observed a small rock and a small piece of chalk on this playground. Observed three small shells in a basket on a low wooden shelf in the Brave Badgers Preschool classroom. Identified there were three children under the age of 3 years old in the Brave Badgers classroom today. These choke hazards fit inside a choke tube and were accessible to children. Correction: Corrected at the time of the inspection when S.G. moved these hazards to an area inaccessible to children. Correct by 08/31/2023

This hole measured approximately 3 feet wide, and the tree stump is in the middle of the hole with a small branch sticking out from it. Observed several deteriorated sections of the poured in place rubber within the use zone of permanently installed structure on the "Big Playground". These could be potential hazards. Correction: Immediately ensure hazardous, high-risk areas are inaccessible to children at all times. Notify Licensing Specialist in writing on how future compliance will be maintained. 7.702.72.C.2.a · The maximum height for toddler climbing equipment cannot exceed thirty-two (32) inches.
A few toddler aged children utilizing the permanently installed playground structure and climbing the blue spider net climber on the "Sandbox" Playground. Licensing Specialist measured two sections of the structure children accessed. The platform of one section measured 38 inches in height, whereas the other platform measured 51 inches in height. The highest point to climb on the spider net measured 43 inches in height. Correction: Immediately ensure the maximum height for toddler climbing equipment cannot exceed 32 inches.
