2.510.H · At all times, school-age child care personnel must be directly supervising the children.

At approximately 4:25pm, after group of children, 3 staff and 1 parent/guardian, returned inside from the playground, Licensing Specialist observed 1 child exit the multipurpose room and walk out the double doors toward the stairs leading down to the street. Licensing Specialist opened door within 5 seconds while child was still within 10 feet of the door, and asked if they had an adult with them. Child responded they thought they were in the car. Child was directed to return inside and check with staff before leaving to make sure. Correction: Immediately ensure school-age child care personnel are directly supervising the children at all times. Corrected at the time of visit. Child returned to the licensed area where all children could be directly supervised by staff. Document plan of compliance in written response. Correct by 12/03/2024
