101430(E) · Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision for Infants (E) If an infant falls asleep before being placed in a crib, staff shall move the infant to a crib as soon as possible. Licensee will have meeting and or individual training to have staff review the safe sleep regulations. Licensee will submit a document signed by all infant staff members that includes their commitment to following safe sleep regulations. Licensee will submit plan to LPA by 12/24/25.
Based on observation and interview LPA witnessed infant in care sleeping in S1's arms for an extended period of time. Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above for one infant was observed sleeping in staff arms which poses an immediate health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care Licensee will submit training documents to LPA by 1/3/25. Submit documents to LPA at tammy.dutra@dss.ca.gov.
