101229.1(b) · (b) The person who brings the child to, and removes the child from, the center shall sign the child in/out. The director shall enforce this requirement by reminding staff and parents/guardians to sign in/out the children daily. Director will inform staff they can not sign children in and out.

101416.2(c)(1)(A) · Infant Care Teacher Qualifications and Duties (c) To be a fully qualified infant care teacher, a teacher shall have the following: (1) Completion, with passing grades, of 12 postsecondary semester or equivalent quarter units in early childhood or child development education at an accredited or approved college or university. (A) At least three of the units required in (c)(1) above shall be related to the care of infants or shall contain instruction specific to infants.

Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 out of 2 persons which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. POC Due Date: 10/24/2024

101416.5(b) · 1) 101416.5 (b) Staff-Infant Ratio, There shall be a ratio of one teacher for every four infants in attendance.

Director has talked to staff and asked staff to communicate with the other classroom to make sure they are in ratio. During to days visit facility was put back into ratio. Based on observation and interview , LPA observed 5 infant children supervised by one teacher, which poses an immediate Health and Safety, and personal rights risk to persons in care.
