Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in one out of 91 children enrolled with an epi-pen expires on 1/31/26, however facility does not have the original packaging for the medication and the medication (epi-pen) does not have the name of the individual for which the medication has been prescribed, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. AD also states the facility will review the policy on isolating ill children and update as needed and submit any updates to LPA. Based on interview and record review, the facility did not comply with the section cited above as facility was not able to completely isolate ill children during a diarrhea outbreak, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
