Lead Teacher Inez Landin stated the outlet found to be in lead exceedance, faucet in Room 3, was last used on 11/21/22. Faucet has been covered and appropriate "Out of Use until Further Notice" signage posted around it. Lead Teacher stated the fixture has been replaced and will be retested on 3/15/23. Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the directive above, as one outlet (outlet used for hand washing) out of three outlets tested with an Action Level Exceedance (ALE). This poses an immediate Health and Safety risk to children in care. Facility will continue to provide LPA with the status and updates regarding the faucet re-test planned on 3/15/23.
