Director and facility staff must submit a statement to LPA Pringle stating what they will be doing different when speaking to children to ensure children's personal rights are upheld. through interview it was found facility staff have been speaking to children in ways that have made children scared and embarrased which poses a potential risk to the health, safety and personal rights of children in care Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Repeat violations are $250 per violation and $100 per day until corrected.

The center will conduct an all staff training on personal rights, develop an agenda, and submit that agenda with a sign in sheet for all the staff that attended. Sign in sheet with complete staff signatures and agenda will be sent to CCLD by POC date 03/19/25. This requirement has not been met as evidenced by: Interviews indicated staff have been observed yelling at children, and talking down to children. By POC Due Date 1/15/24 Licensee agreed to conduct a staff meeting to discuss communication with children. By 1/17/24 submit written statement about plan on how to come into compliance. Per investigation there have been incidents where staff spoke to childen in a manner that was perceived as yelling and aggressive. Director also engaged in heated verbal exchanges with other staff members in the presence of children. Nature of incidents were not in a severe manner and posed a potential risk to safety of children.
