  The Interim Director shall send the LPA proof that the water leak has been repaired and proof of service orders where a thorough inspection is documented and repairs for all entryways that the rodents use to enter the building. This shall be emailed to the LPA no later than 9/5/24. Based on interviews conducted it was determined that the facility has been having an odor in the facility due to the rodent infestation and a water leak under the building, which poses an immediate risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of children in care.

  101238(a)(1) · (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. (1) The licensee shall take measures to keep the center free of flies, other insects, and rodents.

  The Acting Director shall send the LPA a plan detailing how they will get rid of the rodents, how they plan to ensure that the facility will be maintained clear from rodent droppings. This plan shall be emailed to the LPA no later than 9/5/24. Based on observations and interviews conducted it was determined that the facility has a rodent infestation and rodent droppings were found on the floor in the children's bathroom, kitchen, and in the classrooms which poses an immediate risk to the health, safety, and personal rights of children in care.
