The dog reacted and scratched Child #1 on the right side of the face, leaving a diagonal scratch across the right cheek along with small red abrasions and a small puncture wound on the scalp near the hairline. Licensee has implemented a new discipline & behavior management policy on 8/28/2023 and provided it to parents and obtained parent signatures. LPA was provided with a copy of the the new policy during the inspection. Based on confidential interviews the allegation on Personal Rights proved Licensee hit Child 1 while in care.
