101238(g)(1) · Buildings and Grounds (g) Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where inaccessible to children. (1) Storage areas for poisons shall be locked.

Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that there were 8 items considered poisons that were stored on a high shelf in the children's restroom between room 2 and room 3. While these items were kept out of reach of children, they were not stored behind a key lock or combination lock, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. 101216.1(b)(1) · Teacher Qualifications and Duties (b) Prior to employment, a teacher shall meet the requirements of (b)(1) or (b)(2) below: (1) A teacher shall have completed, with passing grades, at least six postsecondary semester or equivalent quarter units of the education requirement specified in (c)(1) below; or shall have obtained a Child Development Assistant Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Deficient Practice Statement Based on the interview and record review, the Licensee did not meet the above regulation which poses a potential Health, Safety & Personal Rights risk to the children in care.
