122419(e) · PARENTS RIGHTS. Upon presenting identification, the parent or authorized representative of a child in care has the right to enter and inspect the family child care home without advance notice during the family child care home's normal operating hours. On or before 6/2/23, both licensees will watch the video on the ccld.ca.gov "Parents' Rights in Child Care." Licensees will change their policy and allow parents into the facility if they request.

Based on interviews and observation licensees did not allow authorized representatives into the facility due to the COVID-19 Pandemic which poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care. which poses an immediate health and safety risk to children in care. Failure to correct will result in a $100 per day civil penalty until corrected. Repeat violations are $250 per violation and $100 per day until corrected.
