101216.3(a) · 101216.3(a) Teacher-Child Ratio There shall be a ratio of one teacher visually observing and supervising no more than 12 children in attendance. The director will ensure that children and teachers are within required ratios at all times. Director will submit a Plan of Correction to the Department by 9/12/25 via email. Director will have a meeting with staff regarding ratios, watch ratio videos and submit declaration for each. Staff will use walkie talkies when on yard. This is evidenced by: Staff #2 was supervising 17 children on the playground alone while the other teacher took 5 children to the restroom. This is an immediate risk to the health and safety of children in care.
