101238(a)(1) · 101238 Buildings and Grounds (a) The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. (1) The licensee shall take measures to keep the center free of flies, other insects, and rodents. Licensee agrees to continue to keep these areas with damaged flooring inaccessible to children in care until the floor can be repaired properly. Licensee agrees to maintain communication on a monthly basis with LPA Carus until the floors have been repaired, and will submit documentation indicating an update regarding this to the department no later than 12/13/2025.

LPA Carus observed floors in 2 areas children can access in the facility that are weak, and floors in one of the children’s classrooms that are broken. LPA Carus observed an excessive amount of termites in the children's classrooms Licensee will submit documentation of the receipt of the scheduled termite treatment to the department by 12/13/2025, and agrees to have ongoing treatments if necessary in order to eliminate the termites permanently.
