102417(a) · Operation of A Family Child Care Home (a) The licensee shall be present in the home and shall ensure that children in care are supervised at all times. When circumstances require the licensee to be temporarily absent from the home, the licensee shall arrange for a substitute adult to care for and supervise the children during his/her absence. Temporary absences shall not exceed 20 percent of the hours that the facility is providing care per day.

Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation and interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that the licensee was not present at the Family Child Care Home during operatoin. Licensee is not scheduled to return until 07/22/2015. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. POC Due Date: 07/31/2025

Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. When entering the home at 9:10 AM LPA asked assistant to provide her name. LPA reviewed records and it was determined the assistant was not associated to the facility or been fingerprint cleared. Assistant and licensee stated she has been working at the facility for three months which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. POC Due Date: 04/07/2022
