Deficient Practice Statement Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in one of two staff files audited. 101225(d) · Transportation (d) All vehicle occupants shall be secured in an appropriate restraint system.

Director will email LPA staff training agenda and staff attendance sign-in for each employee who transports. Agenda must cover CCC transportation policy and understanding of California Car Seat Law. Based on interviews and observations, it was confirmed that built in boosters are not appropriately utilized. Addtionally, between September 18 and 19, six kindergarten children were transported in a rented vehicle without appropriate restraint systems. Which poses a potential health, safety and or personal rights risk to children in care. Additionally, name to face must include documentation of each child utilizing the appropriate restraint during transport daily.
