It was determined that licensee is providing care to children at her store in Shafter, CA and also at the home (unknown location) of adult #1 which is not licensed. Interview Licensee stated that day care children will not be in the presence of adult #1 or any uncleared adult in her store or in the home of adult #1. Licensee stated she understands that uncleared adults are not to provide care and supervision to day care children. Multiple individuals that were interviewed reported that daycare children have received care by adult #1 during licensees noted daycare hours and in the home of adult #1 who does not have a criminal record clearance on at least three occasions in the last month. This poses an immediate risk to the health, safety and/or personal rights of children in care. A $500.00 civil penalty was assessed today.
