  101162(a)(1) · (a)No person or legal entity shall advertise or represent itself as a licensed child care center without first obtaining a current valid license from the Department. (1)Licensees shall reveal each child care center license number in all advertisements in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 1596.861.

  Center Director (D1) has corrected the advertisement banner by adding the facility license number with permanent marker on 08/22/25. D1 will work with the Licensee to update the website to include the facility’s license number or temporarily disable the website until the facility number can be added by 09/12/25. Based on LPA’s observations of the facility’s website and banner sign outdoors, confirmed by interviews with D1 on 06/13/25 and 08/22/25, the Licensee did not ensure that the facility license number is published on advertisements, which poses a potential health, safety and/or personal rights risk to children in care.
