Licensee (L1) stated if she ever had to report suspected child abuse and/or neglect, she would follow protocol by notifying CCLD, and/or the proper authorities including CPS, submitting a SCAR within the required timeframes. Based on LPA Strother’s interview with Licensee (L1) on 05/15/25, a child in care (C1) made claims of physical abuse to L1 on 05/13/25. L1 did not report the incident to CPS with a Suspected Child Abuse Report (SCAR) or report to Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) as required, which posed a potential health, safety and/or personal rights risk to children in care. L1 stated she would produce a written statement detailing how she intends to comply with CCR 102416.2(c)(1), submitting the statement to LPA Strother by 08/12/25 via mail or email.
