  102416.2(b) · 102416.2(b)(1) Reporting Requirements...The licensee shall report to the Department any of the events as specified in Health and Safety Code Sections 1597.467(b)(1)(A) through (b)(1)(C) that occur during the operation of the family child care home. Licensee will submit a written plan to CCLD (shane.loftus@dss.ca.gov) explaining her understanding of the regulation requiring licensees to report unusual incidents (including injuries requiring medical treatment) to Santa Barbara Regional Office withing 24 hours/one business day by 8/8/25. The licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that the licensee failed to report an injury sustained to a child in care within 24 hours/one business day. This poses a potential health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.
