102416.3(a)(4)(6) · (a) Prior to making alterations or additions to a family child care home or grounds, the licensee shall notify the Department of the proposed changed, including, but not limited to, the following: (4) Construction of exterior decks or porches Licensee will not utilize patio until it has been permitted by the city of Santa Maria. Licensee will write a letter stating how they will ensure to report any alterations/changes done to the home.

On 04/03/2026, LPA observed an enclosed patio that was informed to the department and was not an approved alteration to the home. On 4/27/2026, LPA observed the patio without walls, Licensee stated they removed the walls on 4/26/26.
