101216.1(b)(1)(A) · 101216.1 Teacher Qualifications and Duties (b)(1)(A) After employment, a teacher hired under (b) above shall complete, with passing grades, at least two units each semester or quarter until the education requirement specified in (c)(1) below is met.

Director will submit plan on how they will ensure staff have appropriate qualifications for their position. Plan can be submitted to LPA via email at giovani.gonzalez@dss.ca.gov no later than 10/24/25. Based on interviews conducted, and record review, facility did not comply with the deficiency cited above which in having assistants care for children unsupervised which poses a potential risk to the health, safety and or personal rights of children in care.

101212(d)(2)(A) · Upon the occurrence, during the operation of the child care center of any of the events specified in (d)(1) below, a report shall be made to the Department by telephone or fax Administrsator will provide a Unusual Incident Report by calling the officer of the day or by meeting with LPA in perosn. Also Admnistrator will call Santa Barbara county public health and wil email LPA Negrete their repsonse. Also Administror will submit a LIC624.
