Deficient Practice Statement During the inspection, the LPA observed two drawers in the bathroom to contain items such as deodorant, perfume, toothpaste and razors that were accessible to children. Also there was shampoo and other items in the shower that were placed down low and accessible. LPA further observed in the kitchen, two drawers that contained sharpie markers, a lighter, tools and pointed scourer's. Safety precautions shall include but not limited to: (9) Each family child care home shall have a written disaster plan of action prepared on a form approved by the Department.
