The Center will review the regulation section 101223 Personal Rights and will provide training and implement a plan for all staff to adhere to. The center will provide plan and signatures of all staff once training is done by end of business day 9/30/2025. Based on observation the center did not comply with the cited above section. On August 5, 2025, LPAs observed several children playing on the outdoor cement pavement during the hot noon without their footwear. This poses a potential health and safety risk to children in care.

101229(a)(1) · 101229 Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision (a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. This requirment was not met as evidenced by The center will develop a supervision plan, review current supervision practices, and implement any new practices moving forward. As a corrective action, the center must submit all training materials and attendance sign-in sheets for staff members who participated in Licensing by August 15, 2025, or sooner, to address the deficiency.
Based on observation, the center did not comply with the section cited above. The center did not provide sufficient supervision, which led to the child climbing on the roughly four-foot bookshelf and jumping down. LPAs observed this during the inspection. All staff members are required to sign the attendance sheet for this meeting. Supervision shall include visual observation.
