101216.3(a) · 101216.3(a) Teacher-Child Ratio (a)There shall be a ratio of one teacher visually observing and supervising no more than 12 children in attendance, except as specified in (b) and (c) below.
Facility agrees to develop and implement a plan to make sure that they have enough staff to meet the minimum ratio requirements throughout the day. Director will submit the developed plan in writing to LPA via email by the POC due date. Based on LPA observations, record reviews, and interviews that were conducted the facility did not comply with the section cited above and it was found that the facility has been operating out of ratio. During today's inspection LPA observed 25 children in care with 2 adult staff members providing care and supervision, which poses/posed an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
