102416.5(e) · Staffing Ratio and Capacity: If no assistant provider is present at a Large Family Child Care Home, then the licensee shall comply with the capacity requirements for a Small Family Child Care Home as specified in subsections (b) and (c). Licensee needs to immediately ensure to be in compliance with laws and regulations, and to submit CCL a written statement indicating what steps the licensee is going to implement that she is operating within the required capacity when operates by herself without assistant by the POC due date.
Based on interview with licensee, and facility record reviews, LPA learned there were 4 infants and 1 preschooler (including her own infant and preschool child) in care by licensee only after 1:30pm during operation time. This poses an immediately safety & health risk to children in care According to AB 633, all parents of children currently enrolled and any future children being enrolled for the next 12 months must be provided with this report which contains this Type A deficiency.
