101229(a)(1) · 101229 Responsibility for Providing Care and Supervision (a) The licensee shall provide care and supervision as necessary to meet the children's needs. (1) No child(ren) shall be left without the supervision of a teacher at any time, except as specified in Sections 101216.2(e)(1) and 101230(c)(1). Supervision shall include visual observation. Director creates a written plan and will schedule a date to train staff which will include role playing. Director to provide copy of plan and date of training by POC due date. This requirement has not been met as evidenced by: C1 exited the facility without supervision from staff. This poses an immediate risk to the health, safety and personal rights of children in care. 101238.2(a)(2) · Outdoor Space: The surface of the outdoor activity space shall be maintained Free of hazards including, but not limited to, holes, broken glass and other debris, and dry grasses that pose a fire hazard. The Facility has removed the broken patio umbrella from the playground as of 09/27/2023. Deficiency is thus cleared.
