102417(b) · 102417(b) Operation of a Family Child Care Home (b) The home shall be kept clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort this requirement has not been met as evidenced by Licenee will purchase trash cans with lids, make sure trash and food is thrown away, clean home at the start of the day. LPA also requested the licensee to provide a written statement detailing the procedure on or before the POC due date.
Based on observation, LPAs observed the following in the daycare area: red pepper flakes in the carpet, stained couch, trash and food on the floor, bags of trash on the floor and home smelled of urine & spoiled food which poses a potential health, safety and personal rights risk to children in care

Safety precautions shall include but not be limited (4) Poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, firearms and other items which could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where they are inaccessible to children.
Licensee will try to have door patched, replaced or removed, will replace the doors for cabinets and ensure all hazardous items/chemicals/poisons are removed from accessible areas on or before the POC due date. Based on observation, LPAs observed the door to the cabinet under the kitchen sink to be broken, holes in front metal security door and a bottle of lighter fluid in the front yard which poses a potential health, safety and personal rights risk to children in care.

Licensee advised her son (S1) has been live scanned and does have an active fingerprint clearance, but she did not know that she had to associate him to her facility. She advised her daughter (S2) just turned 18yo on 09/18/2022. For S1, Licensee will submit an LIC 9182, 508 and a copy of his ID to Associations_Disassociations858@dss.ca.gov The Licensee has 2 adult children who are not fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility Personnel Summary Report, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care. For S2, Licensee will complete an LIC 9163 and have her live scanned ASAP, and submit proof to LPA. During today's visit, Licensee submitted an update LIC 279, to add adult children to form.
