Director has provided LPA with a list of qualified staff to be in Caterpillars classroom. Director stated some qualified staff are on vacation. Director stated they may hire a qualified teacher to be in the infant classroom and ensure staff to infant ratio is met. Based on observation, interview and record review, Caterpillars’ classroom was operating with a total of 30 infants and 13 staff (2 qualified teachers and 3 qualified aides). The 5 qualified staff present would allow for a ratio of 20 infants only. Remainder of staff present in Caterpillars’ classroom did not have ECE units and are not counted towards ratio.
