On December 2, 2025, the director held a meeting regarding the incident in which a child was left unsupervised in the classroom. The director reviewed updated safety procedures, including requiring the child to remain with a para and have their hand held during transitions. Based on interview and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. The facility left a child unsupervised in a classroom for approximately 90 seconds. which poses a potenital health, safety, or personal rights risk to children in care. Parents were advised to speak with their children about not hiding in the classroom. Staff were also reminded that children must be recounted during all transitions to ensure proper supervision. This deficiency will be cleared during today's visit.
