(10)A baby bouncer, walker shall not be allowed on the premises of a family child care home in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 1596.846(b) and (c). During today's visit, LPA did not observe baby bouncers and walkers in the playroom. Title 22 regulations were discussed. Licensee now understands that baby bouncers, baby walkers, Johnny Jumpers, exercausers are not allowed to be used during day-care hours and will comply with this requirement.

  A photo was presented to LPA that a child was sleeping in one of the bouncers. The use of baby bouncers and baby walkers presents immediate health and safety risks to the children The deficiency is considered corrected and cleared today. This Type A citation page shall be posted for 30 days along with the Notice of Site Visit. This page shall be provided to all parents of children currently enrolled and any future children being enrolled for the next 12 months per AB 633 requirements
