On the same day, the Director conducted a briefing and reviewed active supervision with the staff members involved. As part of the Plan of Correction (POC), the Center will ensure that all staff are trained on supervision, accountability, scanning procedures, and conducting face checks. Training materials and attendance records of staff attending the training will be submitted to LPA by the POC due date.

The center will provide a supervision plan that encompasses staff scheduling, ensuring proper placement of staff on the playground, and offering training and mentorship to support the staff working with the enrolled children. Between June 3 and June 6, 2024, the center conducted thorough training on children's personal rights for all staff members. The training materials and signed attendance confirmations from the teachers have been submitted to the Licensing office. As a result, the deficiency cited today is cleared. Based on the interview, it was found that the Center did not comply with the section cited above in that staff member used inappropriate language when instructing children to lie down during nap time.
