  101238(a)(1) · Buildings and Grounds: The child care center shall be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. The licensee shall take measures to keep the center free of flies, other insects, and rodents. Director states already has pest control with Ecolab and will request a reassessment and ask what other steps can be done and adding more continuous check ins to ensure the issue gets solved and look into additional fumigation such as having indoor sprayed and tent over campus if needed.

  LPAs own observations and interviews conducted, the facility has insects such as cockroaches, ants and spiders. Pest control services are conducted once a month for minor services. This poses an immediate health and safety risk to children in care Director states will submit to the Department, full detailed documents from the pest control as to what will be done and will request for pest control to do major services twice a year.
