Since the 10/27/25 visit, Center Director Taylor Markevicz has submitted proof to the Department, and LPA has confirmed, that staff S1 is background cleared and associated to the facility. The deficiency is cleared. Based on record review, S1's employment start date was 1/6/25 and their fingerprints were not associated to the facility as of the LPA’s 10/27/25 visit, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Director stated that immediate correction is that staff member (S1) has been moved from lead teacher to floater teacher. And will not be alone with children. All staff will undergo health and safety training including personal rights and supervisor of children. Based upon interviews conducted with staff. It is determined that staff member (S1) handled a child in a rough manner which is an immediate health, safety and personal rights risk to children in care. Director stated that she will provide training material and a copy of sign in sheet via email to Annette.Sutherland@dss.ca.gov by 8/17/23. Director will also include ensure upon initial instances of violation to immediately report to licensing , parents, and take action.
