… Mrs. Weber stated that the facility always provided water from the kitchen via Brita water pitchers that filters out chemicals. LPA observed Brita pitchers (and drinking cups) easily accessible to children. Mrs. Weber stated that she will turn off the drinking water permanently (Sinks B & C) and ensures that Brita pitchers be available to children at all times. Based on water testing results and interviews, facility tested over the Action Level Exceedance level for B (Room 1) & C (Room 2) sinks. Mrs. Weber stated that these sinks were never used for drinking and are mainly used for handwashing only. This posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to children in care.
