Licensee's husband/helper came to the facility, 30 minutes after inspection started, correcting her the licensee's over capacity. Based on todays inspection, Licensee was found over her capacity with 7 children, and no helper. Licensee does not have a Landlord Consent on file. This is a repeat violation over the last 12 months.

Licensee stated they would remove the ripped playpen and replace it with a new one by 06/11/2025. Licensee will provide to LPA Macias an image of new playpen and a receipt of purchase via email or text. Based on LPAs observations, a playpen in the living room was in disrepair, with a ripped loose fabric where infant’s head and neck could easily get tangled.

Licensee stated that she would hire her sister in law Guerline Ettienne who has the same name as the licensee's as a helper and that she would make sure that she is not left alone with more than 6 children. Manissarde Etienne arrived later correcting the deficiency at the spot. Based on LPAs observation, licensee was found to be over capacity with 11 children present (this included 3 infants and licensee's own 9 year old child) and no helper/s. LPAs arrived at 8:58AM and helper Manissarde Etienne arrived at around 9:20 AM. Licensee stated that baby gate would be replaced with a new one by 06/11/2025. Licensee with email or text a picture and purchase receipt to LPA Macias. Based on LPAs observation, there was a broken baby gate between the Kitchen and the front entrance room. Baby gate was easily opened by children making the Kitchen (off limit area) accessible to children.
